Summer Travel Essentials: Conair's new Hairdryer

One of my Summer Travel Essentials is bringing my own hairdryer. I know most hotels nowadays have their own but they're usually the ones on the wall and take forever to dry my hair. For my travels this summer, I'll be bringing the new Conair Infiniti You Reel Folding Handle Dryer. The handles folds neatly into the body of the dryer and the cord also reels into the handle which is perfect. It occupies less space in my suitcase and works like a charm.

Performance-wise? It's fabulous! It's super powerful and leaves my hair shiny and dry in great time. It has 3 heat and 2 speed switch settings (high and low) similar to what I'm using now. I've been using Conair's hairdryers non-stop since I was introduced to their Infiniti Pro Salon Performance AC Motor Styling Tool in 2010 (which I nickname the orange hairdyer.) It's salon-powerful but can be quite bulky for travel, which is why I'm so glad I have the new You Reel dryer as part of my travel essentials.

NYC's Winter Wonderland event by John Frieda Styling Tools by Conair

Fa-la-la-la-laaa-lalalala! Yes it's Thanksgiving this week and when I'm enjoying my feast on Thursday, I know it means that it's officially winter & the holidays. It's my favorite time of year when I get to enjoy spending time cozying up with a hot chocolate and blanket near the fireplace. It's also great because there's lots of great activities to do, such as ice-skating!

Conair presents John Frieda's Hair Styling Tools

Calling all John Frieda® haircare fans! If you're looking to get some gorgeous, loose curls, then you should try the new Conair & John Frieda styling hair tools that debuted earlier this summer. The collection includes a straightener, blowdryer, as well as 3 curling irons in these sizes: 1", 1 .25", and a 1.5" curler. All curlers have an Advanced Ionic Conditioning and True Ceramic Technology to help you get smooth and lasting curls.

The curling iron above is the 1.25" barrel curler to get medium sized curls. It features a 30 second heat-up (nice & quick! Esp. when you're crunched for time) and 11 digital heat settings. Temperatures can reach as high as 400°F, uber hot so be careful! The curler comes with a heat pad so you can rest the iron.

Overall, what caught my eye is the sleek design of this curling iron. Not only does it does its job by giving my gorgeous curls, its sophisticated look livens the rest of my collection! :)

Inifiniti Pro by Conair: Spin Air Brush

Looking to bring volume at your roots without the hassle of a brush & a blowdryer? Then you have to try the new InfinitiPro by Conair's latest product- Spin Air Brush! This handy device will dry your hair and give you the option of curling your hair or bringing volume at the roots. Replacing my blowdryer this summer, I have been using this Spin Air Brush non-stop to get smooth hair when I'm not using the "spinning" option and curled ends when I do use the "spinning" of the brush. I've been seeing less frizz on my hair after using this due to the even ceramic heating this tool provides.

When I first saw this, I didn't really think this product was going to be a hit. After my first use, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to dry my hair in several sections while giving my hair oomph!

There are two buttons (the ones sticking out) to control the rotation of the brush. It's conveniently located so your thumbs can press it down. Your hair can easily be wrapped around the brush once you press the spin button, so be careful! Once you have a section rolled around the brush, let it stay heated for a few seconds and then have it on "cool" to set.

You Style Conair Brush- 2 brushes in 1!

For past couple weeks, I've been using this You Style Conair Brush that is literally a flat paddle brush which can be converted into a rounded brush. I usually use a wide tooth comb but I use this for styling via flat paddle brush to get even straighter hair or via rounded brush for curled in ends. This is great to use b/c I can never find the brush I need when I need it! With this "two-fer" brush, you can save space & money so it's a win-win!

It's time for a giveaway! This year Conair is generous to sponsor another giveaway for my readers to receive their newest Infiniti Pro hairdryer (model 270). (My last Conair giveaway in the Fall was the orange Infiniti Pro Model 250 hair dryer.)

The new professional model is similar to one before in that they both have AC motors such as the dryers in salons to provide a powerful, yet quiet, drying time for your hair. It is also going to last 3 times longer than regular hairdryers using DC motors. This new model also has neutralizing ions to help make your hair shiny and reduce frizz. September Update

I am baaaack! Sorry I have been MIA most of this summer but I am back and ready for the FALL season to begin. Blame it on my recent vacation to Italy or the crazy tornado that hit NY, but I am seriously excited for the Holidays already..
