Spring Break Accessories - What to bring?

Spring and spring break is literally just around the corner, so it's best to be prepared! There are always a few essentials that I bring with me on a spring break trip including accessories and gadgets!

Here are some of my recommendations:
1) Shades- especially if you're going somewhere sunny and warm! Gotta protect those peepers of yours and why not with these affordable, turquoise-shelled shades?

(Source: Forever21.com, $5.80)

2) Scarves- are my favorite way to make every outfit look unique. They're also good in case it gets a bit chilly in the evenings by the beach ;) Here are two bright colored options from Lindsay Phillips:

I like scarves that are lightweight and versatile so I can wear them in different ways. The Palmetto Scarf is a 40" square in a polka dot pattern that I can fold it into my clutch. It was sent to me for review consideration and absolutely love how soft and lightweight that it feels.

3) Totes: You need a large tote to carry all your beach necessities! This cute tote comes with a matching towel so you already know what you're sunbathing on at the beach. That's one less thing to worry about!

4) Water bottles: Stay hydrated with these reusable water bottles from Lolita. These Stainless Steel Canteens come in 3 different fun designs- bikinis, flipflops and sunglasses. Each canteen can carry up to .25 oz of water and comes with a special charm. :)

Holiday Series #7: Accessorize with Scarves by Lindsay Phillips

This holiday season, accessorize your outfits with scarves! I love to wear scarves because they can really brighten and differentiate your outfits, especially if you like to wear a lot of blacks or neutral colors.

For the holidays, if you're wearing a colorful dress, you can wear a more neutral scarf such as this one on the left. This beautifully made Cape Coral scarf in grey by Lindsay Phillips ($25, USD) feels very light and soft on your skin. The pattern is quite interesting too- it looks a bit leopard with glittery threads sewn in. It's definitely eye catching and great to pair your outfits in! If you're going to stick with dark colored dresses, I would pair it with brighter colored scarf, such as this gorgeous turquoise here.

Support Breast Cancer Awareness Research with Foot Petals, Lindsay Phillips & Lolita

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and almost everything pink-ribboned that is sold during the month is probably supporting Breast Cancer Research! (Check your product/retailer for details!)

Here are a few items that I wanted to share..

foot petals breast cancer
Foot Petals - One of my feet must-haves are its Tip Toes. How excited was I to find out they created these Heart-shaped Tip Toes in pink! They are as cushion-y as the regular ones I have (see my review on the Foot Petals products from last year) but just a bit brighter.

Foot Petals will be donating 10% of sales from the Rose Heart Tip Toes and Rose Heart Dots Tip Toes to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure; global leader of the worldwide fight against breast cancer.

Who else will be donating?

Lolita carries unique products in their stores and they have a new collection of BCA products. They will be donating 10% of the proceeds to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, as well. The wine glass, sundae bowl and purse hanger are my three fave items from their Pink Ribbon collection.

The above shoes and scarf are especially made to support Breast Cancer Awareness by Lindsay Phillips. The Ida Breast Cancer Switch Flop ($37) has a unique fuschia ruffle strap and a gold base. These switch flops are very cool b/c you can switch the top straps so it looks like you're wearing a new flip flop every time! An easy switch to update your look! The Belleview Scarf ($25) is colorful enough to brighten your mood and wardrobe. It also makes a great gift for a friend, mom, granny, etc. 25% of the purchase price will be donated to Young Survival Coalition and The Mammography Voucher Program at Morton Plant Mease Hospital.
