SoftSoap Coconut Scrub

In my recent Influenster Holiday VoxBox, one of first things I wanted to try was the SoftSoap 2-pack Coconut Scrub bar soap. Been hooked on exfoliating soaps ever since I've been using similar one so I was excited to try this in a yummy coconut scent. This NEW SoftSoap bar soap is filled with crushed coconut extracts that act as gentle exfoliants on your skin so you're bound to have ridiculously clean skin! It's gentle enough to use daily which is perfect! It smells fantastic and I can't wait to try out more SoftSoap products. I've also found their bodywashes really moisturizing when I used them in the past so I'm exciting to start using them again.

Burt's Bees Cranberry & Pomegranate Replenishing Body Bar Review

HOTHOTHOT! It is scorching outside as I write, and I'm lucky to be sitting indoors in an air-conditioned room. If I go outdoors, my skin and hair will sizzle... I've been using another HOT item on my must-haves for this summer- Burt's Bees new bar soap!

The past week and a half, I've been getting up early and incorporating a daily workout routine-just half hour to really energize myself throughout the day. A shower is a must (haha) and have been using constantly Burt's Bees Cranberry & Pomegranate Replenishing Bar soap. Yes the scent is fabulous and the formula leaves my skin feel super smooth but that's not why I keep using this. It's unlike any other soap I have ever used. It's got amazing exfoliating particles- sort of like loofah particles- inside so it exfoliates my skin every time I use this. It's not scratchy at all but gentle enough to use once or even twice daily! It's made of cranberry fruit extract, so it may even be that.. can't really tell from the ingredients list.

Ingredients: sodium rapeseedate, aqua (water, eau), sodium cocoate, glycerin, parfum (fragrance), helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, luffa cylindrica fruit, punica granatum extract, theobroma grandiflorum seed butter, vaccinium macrocarpon (cranberry) fruit extract, vaccinium macrocarpon (cranberry) seed powder, sodium citrate, CI 77491 (iron oxides), citral, geraniol, limonene, linalool

Tom's of Maine Natural Beauty Bar Soaps

At the EcoStilleto.com's Green Girls Night Out last month, Tom's of Maine was there to showcase some of their new products. (Check out my review on their oral care products, including their new Whitening Toothpaste) They have lots of eco-friendly products, from mouthwash to floss to deodorant!

What caught my eye was their display above of Tom's of Maine new beauty bars, including their Gently Exfoliating soap with exfoliating apricot seeds & Sensitive soap with soothing chamomile. One of the first soaps I tried was their Daily Moisture bar with olive oil & vitamin E (got this in my PrettyCity Green & Gorgeous goodie bag) which I really liked. It smells nice and left my skin smooth and moisturized. :)

Learn more about the other soaps...

Gently Exfoliating Soap- this soap smells exactly like the Daily Moisture bar but has little dots (which are made of apricot seeds) to exfoliate your skin. It contains the benefits of vitamin E and olive oil but also scrubs dead skin cells so you don't have to use an additional loofah if you don't have one. I was hoping this would be a bit more apricot-scented but it still smells really nice. It's not harsh at all so definitely like this!

Sensitive Soap with Soothing Chamomile- this soap is also like the Daily Moisture bar but has an additional ingredient- chamomile! It's soothing properties left my skin feeling really nice and the overall aroma was calming. It's great to use after a long day of work and you want to relax with a (almost) hot shower. I have sensitive skin too but all the other soaps were fine for me too.

Spring awakening: NEST Fragrances Soap & Reed Diffuser

(Soap, 8.8 oz. $16 USD; Diffuser, 5.9 fl. oz. $34 USD, www.nestfragrances.com)

SPRING...
It's almost here and now that the sun is out this weekend, I can finally transition into the new season! I have been waiting until this month to finally use my new NEST Fragrances Reed Diffuser and Bar Soap. The packaging, as always, is so pretty and looks like gifts themselves. Unwrap them and you unleash the abundance of fragrance that were neatly tucked inside...

The two different fragrances I tried were ...
Moss & Mint for the Bar Soap & Bamboo for the Reed Diffusers.

Moss & Mint- Garden mint, apple blossom and muguet are infused with a touch of oakmoss and vetiver. I immediately smelled the minty notes with a hint of florals & fruits.. The Apple Blossom makes it smell really nice and it reminded me of an outdoor picnic where flowers are blooming and you're snacking on fruits. The combination is very spring-like and fortunately the bar soap (an inch and a half thick!) deliciously lathers your body in this fragrance. It is incredibly luxurious and have never tried such a huge bar of soap before! :D

Bamboo- Flowering bamboo is mingled with a variety of white florals, sparkling citrus and fresh green accords. I have a few bamboo plants around my house but never cared much for their scent.. However NEST fragrances have paired the bamboo with citrus & florals that makes Bamboo smell new and fresh! Also really liking this scent as a Reed Diffusers. Its alcohol-free and the aroma of the Bamboo fragrance makes my room smell so good. It's supposed to last for up to 90 days, and so far I'm in 2 weeks.. 2 & half more months to go!
