Spring awakening: NEST Fragrances Soap & Reed Diffuser

SPRING... It's almost here and now that the sun is out this weekend, I can finally transition into the new season! I have been waiting until this month to finally use my new NEST Fragrances Reed Diffuser and Bar Soap. The packaging, as always, is so pretty and looks like gifts themselves. Unwrap them and you unleash the abundance of fragrance that were neatly tucked inside...

The two different fragrances I tried were ...
Moss & Mint for the Bar Soap & Bamboo for the Reed Diffusers.

Moss & Mint- Garden mint, apple blossom and muguet are infused with a touch of oakmoss and vetiver. I immediately smelled the minty notes with a hint of florals & fruits.. The Apple Blossom makes it smell really nice and it reminded me of an outdoor picnic where flowers are blooming and you're snacking on fruits. The combination is very spring-like and fortunately the bar soap (an inch and a half thick!) deliciously lathers your body in this fragrance. It is incredibly luxurious and have never tried such a huge bar of soap before! :D

Bamboo- Flowering bamboo is mingled with a variety of white florals, sparkling citrus and fresh green accords. I have a few bamboo plants around my house but never cared much for their scent.. However NEST fragrances have paired the bamboo with citrus & florals that makes Bamboo smell new and fresh! Also really liking this scent as a Reed Diffusers. Its alcohol-free and the aroma of the Bamboo fragrance makes my room smell so good. It's supposed to last for up to 90 days, and so far I'm in 2 weeks.. 2 & half more months to go!

Bridal Series #3: The Perfect Scent

Don't you love it when you walk into a room and it smells so perfect? Whether it's your wedding reception, bridal shower, or just a lovely party that you're having, it's always best to have that lovely scent. There are two I recommend from NEST fragrances and Thymes...

This fall I have been obsessed with fragrances- the pumpkin chai aroma for the changing of the season's and the smell of holiday. Of course, I'm not surprised that NEST fragrances has teamed up with Vera Wang to create the Vera Wang Floral Bouquet Boudoir Candle. It smells really good and contains notes of lily, gardenia, blossoming Damask rose, leafy greens and watery nuances. These would be perfect to have at your dinner tables to get the smell of rich flowers. Perfect for the day time event!

Having an evening soiree? Then the Thymes Moonflower Aromatic Candle would be perfect. Dubbed the glimmer of Twilight, this candle will surround you with notes of cinnamon, clove, and sugared quince. It's a deep, dark mysterious scent that leaves you wanting more. The design of the candles are also so pretty and decorative so even if you're having a simple or lavish wedding, these are elegant enough for the right touch! Holiday Series #3: NEST Holiday 6- Votive Candle Set - Limited Edition

The best things about the Holidays is staying at home and spending time with your family. And of course, it's even better when your home just smells like the Holidays. I'm a huge fan of NEST candles- recently spotted them at the C.O. Bigelow store- and this season, they have a limited edition Holiday 6 votive candle gift set ($32, USD). Packaged in a gorgeous red box, this 6 mini candle set is perfect for scattering around the living room, around your coffee table, window sills, etc. These are incredibly fragrant with rich aromas from pomegranate, mandarin orange, and hints of clove and cinnamon. The combination of all these makes it a perfect holiday scent. (Note: You must take these candles out of the box- since it's cardboard inside.) A great bonus? You can keep this box as a keepsake to put your holiday cards, small ornaments, or any other keepsakes from this holiday.

NEST fragrances - Pumpkin Chai & PROJECT ART collection

Fall is officially here! The cool, crisp Autumn air and the leaves changing colour are my favorite parts of September. Unfortunately it's been a pretty warm month, however it doesn't mean I can't enjoy the changing of the seasons within my home.

Recently I learned about the brand- NEST fragrances- which was founded by Laura Slatkin. (You may recognize Slatkin & Co. in Bath & Body Works stores near you.) NEST fragrances is celebrating Autumn with its Pumpkin Chai Candle, especially made with a blend of wild pumpkin, cinnamon, spicy Masala chai and ginger scents.

Even without burning the candle, you can smell its rich aroma! This special edition candle can last up to 50 hours of consecutive burn time. My favorite part of the candle is its packaging. Even after the candle is finished, I can reuse its container. :)

NEST fragrances has created a new collection called PROJECT ART- a fabulous selection of candles, soaps, hand lotions, and reed diffusers for your home. Easily accessible at your local Hallmark or BedBath& Beyond stores, these products bring luxury, quality and a wonderful scent right into your home.

There are so many great scents, 12 in total, including your fall favorites- Cinnamon Spice, Apple, Pumpkin as well as floral & citrus scents. I was sent the hand soap in Juliette Rose which has a subtle potpourri scent. I don't normally go for the floral ones- but I am really liking this. It contains granular beads that's used to exfoliate while you wash. It's formula is non-drying at all. :)

I also tried the Orange Kumquat hand lotion and this smells ABSOLUTELY YUMMY! If I could, I would eat the bottle. It smells like a juicy can of kumquats (?) although I never had those before, but it's like tons and tons of oranges all squished into one bottle. This lotion has been keeping my hand (and legs) moisturized and super soft all week. Your house guests will love this when they come over!
