March Ipsy Bag revealed!
March's Ipsy bag (http://www.ipsy.com/?refer=u-hkd1iykrlf0y7y3) includes eyes, lips and face products that are perfect for travel and for an everyday look.
The bag came with the cutest travel-sized lipstick from bareMinerals. The Marvelous Moxie lipstick in "Get Ready" is a pretty pinkish red. It's also quite hydrating and perfect for everyday.
For an everyday, easy to wear eye makeup, the NYX trio offers complimenting shades for many eye colors. Dare to go blue? The Chella eyeliner lets you get the perfect winged look with its precise liner.
To get your face prime and ready to go out, the Pixi Beauty primer helps you get that glow! I don't normally use primers but it's got some tint and I like the radiance it brings out in my skin.
Can't wait for April's bag!! join today! http://www.ipsy.com/?refer=u-hkd1iykrlf0y7y3

The Makeup Show in LA- recap
I started March off right with The Makeup Show right here in Downtown Los Angeles. My first show in LA, I wasn't sure if it would be any different than the ones in NYC. Right when I got there, I knew it wouldn't be much different. Many of my favorite brands were present and I was pleased! Here are some pictures of just *some* of the booths!

February Birchbox with UsWeekly
This month's Birchbox, specially curated with Us Weekly, was a mix of items to help you get "carpet-ready." For $10/month, I sampled various beauty products intended to give yourself a finishing touch.
Here's what I got:
* Miracle Skin Transformer Face Spotlight SPF 20 (Unfortunately I'm allergic to chemical SPF ingredients so can't try it out.)
* OPI Sheer Tints Color-Tinted Top Coat- the sheer pink is incredibly cute and different! Top coats don't have to be clear and pain.. now there's color! Can also be worn alone so you get a sheer pink as well.
* Joan Vass L'eau de Opale fragrance - smells nice but not a huge fan of it. Per their description it contains "top notes of valencia orange and pink pepper with a sweet combination of cinnamon leaf, jasmine sambac, and tuberose middle notes."
* SARAHPOTEMPA The HALF-UP™ styling tool is unique and pretty easy to use to create a low bun or a bun half-up without extra bobby pins.
* Bonus: 32 Oral Care Effervescent Breath Crystals with IsoVoxy- 2 packets of pop-rock fizzy crystals.. not my favorite since I would rather chew a piece of gum.
My favorite products were the HALF-UP hair tool and the OPI Sheer Tints top coat. I would have liked to see more deluxe sized samples as my boxes seemed to be a bit more light than previous ones. Hope to get something amazing in future boxes!

My First W3LL PEOPLE product!
W3LL People creates natural & organic beauty products and its Narcissist foundation & concealer stick has become my latest daily must-wear! I was able to one of their most popular products from Goodebox's recent giveaway. I adore that the conveniently packaged foundation stick is creamy and perfect to hide any blemishes, redness or dark spots. I'm also loving this to hide those dark circles while skipping the eye cream first.

February Fitness: The Thin in 10 Weight-Loss Plan Book Review
February has been my fitness-focused month. Of course I strive everyday to be more healthier and more conscious with my diet, but I have made mini-goals to find routines that work for me. (That's key to finding something that can last.) A book that I have been reading and loving is The Thin in 10 Weight-Loss Plan with tips and tricks on how to "make-over" your body and life in just 10 minutes a day. This book is perfect for the visual fitness newbie who is looking for different moves to try in a 10 minute sequence. I also enjoy the recipes and recommended daily meals just so you have an idea of what kinds of foods you should be eating..(think more fruit and whole grains and less fat!)
What I like about this book is that it also contains a workout DVD so you don't have to flip through the pages. Instead I read it over so I can familiarize how to perform and perfect the moves. This book has so many great workout tips to help you achieve strength, flexibility and a stronger core. Check out your local bookstore or Amazon to get your own copy today!
(Disclaimer: I received this product from this company's PR agency to test, try and share my thoughts with my readers.)

Weleda Body & Skin Care products
One of my goals for 2014 is to be more cognizant of what skin products I use for my body. I have sensitive skin so I am always looking for those that have natural ingredients and of course, beneficial ones too. I have used Weleda products in the past, ranging from their Pomegranate facial serum to their body lotions and I'm so excited to learn about their new Wild Rose Smoothing Facial Capsules. This month-long skincare system (30 capsules in a jar) are intended for daily usage to revitalize your skin with its organic rosehip seed oil. Already a huge fan of facial oils, the oil from rosehip contains many benefits including restoring elasticity with vitamins C and lycopene and may even help with dark-spot correction. I didn't feel that it was too oily for my combo skin too which was nice and it smells wonderful. So far, I've been using this for a week and my skin has been feeling more smooth... amazing!! It also contains Sweet Almond, Jojoba and Evening Primrose oil.
A Weleda favorite of mine is the Skin Food moisturizer. It's a life-savor for those battling dry and rough skin as I have this Winter season. Weleda's natural skincare product contains Sunflower seed oil, Sweet Almond oil, and even calendula to help soothe your skin and rough spots. My hands, feet and legs have been really dry and with a small amount of Skin Food, it's instantly moisturized. I use this several times a day to help with my dry skin.

January Ipsy bag
This month's Ipsy bag, themed 19 Reasons, had 5 great reasons to use my new beauty goodies. Upon opening my pink bubble bag, I found Coastal Scent's small foundation brush outside my usual Ipsy cosmetic bag. Brushes are fantastic with soft bristles and it was included to accompany Yaby's foundation in Buff. It was actually a closer match to my skin tone than I thought (not complete) but still satisfactory enough for me to use as concealer. I like to use bronzer all over to give my skin a nice dewy glow anyway so this is great to even my complexion. For my lips, I'm enjoying MicaBeauty's tinted lip balm. The color is not that intense but gives it a nice sheen. Two other products that I haven't found myself using yet are the Apothederm Skin Brightening Serum and Absolute! makeup cleansing cloths, since I already have products in my routine that I like using right now. They will be saved for travel later. :)
Haven't joined Ipsy yet? Join today! I am hoping it will be a great February bag with lots of goodies for Valentine's Day!!
