Introducing you to Beauty & All That's Bridal Series #1 !

Beauty and All That's Bridal Series has officially begun! I'll preface this with saying that I'm not a bride but I have been to many weddings this year and previous years so although I'm not an expert, anything glamorous, romantic and white - I like! To start off and dip into bridal industry, I attended The Wedding Salon - one of the bridal tradeshows that all brides must attend! Thank you so much to WeddingSalon.com for letting me attend! There were tons of exhibitors for photography, bridal destinations, florists, services, catering, and so much more to help the bridal plan their big day.

There were tons of NYC brides in attendance and they were eager to soak in as much information as possible. Although it was very crowded, it wasn't so bad. Once we were done, we were ushered to exit and for those who held a goody bag ticket, to pick up their famous goody bag. (Stay tuned for the inside dish of what the goody bag contains!)

Everything was extravagant and incredible gorgeous.. just take a look at these sample dinner tables and CAKES!!! Exquisite, huh? :)

Also, I recently tried their lipcolour and bought an extra one for this give-away!

Holiday Series #1: Cosmetic Bags from Apple & Bee

I am dedicating my first Holiday Series to Apple & Bee's wonderful cosmetic bags because not only are they made of durable material, this company is carbon neutral and donates part of their profits to environmental organizations. Hurrah! After my fabulous, fun night at the PrettyCity Beauty Sample Sale, I knew I had to showcase my Apple & Bee bags. Apple & Bee's table stood out in the crowd (literally- the place was packed) because they had gorgeous cosmetic and travel bags and a friendly and helpful staff!

A 100% Australian owned company, Apple & Bee provided a generous selection of bags to choose from. It really took me a while to figure out which bags I wanted to get.. My friend and I were checking the table out, thinking we were only going to get 1 or 2, but at the end, we got a whole lot more! :) They make wonderful gifts for girlfriends, so I am saving a few for the Holidays! (Not shown so they will be a surprise.)

The quality of the bags is amazing; They are made of certified organic cotton, bamboo silk, hemp (for inside layer of the smaller makeup bags) and genuine leather for their label. The inside is just as lovely as the outside!

The largest bag in the trio, called the Bowling Bag, is my favorite. This print is one of a kind so I am a proud of owner. :) Here are some of the popular prints in the same style (Click to enlarge):

L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Explosion Mascara Review

Want defined and lengthened lashes that look absolutely gorgeous? Then, try the new L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Explosion Mascara!

What makes this mascara truly unique is their brush! It combed my lashes individually and along with the formulation of the mascara, this new product made my eyes stand out. It is great to use to make yourself look awake- think 8 A.M. meetings on Monday mornings. It does take some time to learn how to use the wand right though. I had to give myself an extra 5-10 minutes to complete the application. (Had to be super careful!) I like that the mascara stays put and lasts long. It hardly gave me raccoon eyes or flakes at the end of the day.

Here is a closeup picture of the spherical brush wand. It takes some time to get the hang of using this brush because of its different shape. (Since we have adapted to using the traditional longer brushes for sweeping mascara from the base of our lash to the tip.) Practice makes perfect!

I recommend that you get yourself this if you're looking to try something new and you want to define your lashes with this spherical wand. (But only if you have extra time to spare in the morning with your routine and/or the patience to re-learn how to apply mascara.) Once you learn to use the wand, the pay-off is amazing!

Sephora OPI Nail Colors for Fall 2009

Dark nails is one of the trends for this Fall, as well as purples. Below, are some colors that I am eyeing from the Sephora by OPI Nail Colour collection. (See the pattern here?)

In The Shadows	Caffeine Fix	On Stage

Matte nails are also another trend and Sephora/OPI is offering Matte nail polish! Here are the three colors that are available. Will you be wearing this trend?

Domestic Goddess	Metro Chic (One of their popular colors!)	What's a Tire Jack?

I am also liking the France and Espana collection from the regular OPI collection. They offer a great selection in deep red, purples and even almost black with hints of dark green, dark purple, and wine colors. They are so gorgeous! Sephora's Testers- If you're not sure what color would look good on you, I would recommend going to a Sephora store because they have testers! So you can try out their amazing nail polish remover and of course the Sephora By OPI nail colors above and have fun with it. Or you could always go to the website to see their swatches.

OPI's website- I recently checked out the OPI website and they have this great tool where you can see what the colors will look on your hand. On your screen you will see a hand (and you can control the color of the skin) and complete swatches of the nail collection. It's perfect to see how your hand will look if you're wearing the color. Very helpful application if you're not sure of which color you want. Read reviews on OPI products.

My nail history- I usually like to have my nails short and I don't wear nail polish very often. I used to buy the Wet 'n Wild and Brucci brands at drugstores back in the day and sneak off in the bathroom to paint them. I even used to mix my colors (blue and silver was my favorite combo)! I remember the smell of the paint was horrible - can't even imagine the fumes I must have inhaled, which was why I had to paint in the bathroom, near the window.. So the smell of it made me stop using it for a while, until brands got smarter and realized you could make nail polish without the chemicals! :)

Yummy Earth Organic Lollipops and Candy

Have you heard of organic candy? Better yet, have you ever tried one? I bought my first bag of YummyEarth lollipops and they are so delicious! I hardly eat candy nowadays except for dark chocolate so I wanted to try these out. What is great about this company is that they use only organic, all natural ingredients. How-to: See All of Sephora's Coupon Codes

Are you interested in seeing ALL of Sephora's coupon codes for their Limited Time specials, Everyday Freebies, and Special Value Sets? Usually, when you click to see their "Weekly Special" on their home page or the flashing banner of "Free Returns/3 Free Samples/Free Shipping" on the top left of the home page, it takes you to a page which lists the freebies. It is a short list that looks like the page on the left.

As a Beauty Insider, I receive their newsletters in my email. One day, I clicked on their Freebies logo and it took me to this page that you see on the left. It is obviously more in-depth and lists a whole lot more of choices. It includes a lot more of "Limited Time" specials and a new section on Special Value Sets (usually freebies with a purchase of a fragrance set.)
